The sound of spurs and good natured banter amongst Cowboys can be heard as you are transported by this room to the times of the old west from the Cowboy hats to lasso and the four poster- vintage carved walnut full sized bed. Original horse artwork and the sitting area replete with rocking chair and glass topped tables beckon the weary traveler to sit a spell. Not to be outdone, the ensuite bathroom has a walnut washboard, farmhouse chair, pedestal sink and a lovely antique soaking tub with a handheld brass shower to whisk you back in time. If you can bear to leave the tub, then saunter out to the shared back porch with its view of miniature horses, gardens and the wooded hillside. This peaceful dog friendly room occupies the north side of the bunkhouse building and can accommodate up to three people.
Exquisitely peaceful memories are made in this turn of the century room with its handsome wrought iron queen bed, French side table and dark mahogany dresser. Stepping out onto the shared porch immediately fills your view with gardens and mountain ranges. The irresistible deck chairs beckon as if to invite you to sit awhile and enjoy a beverage while listening to the wildlife or watching the twinkling night stars. This comfortable haven at the top of the stairs has a private bathroom just down the hall with a large walk-in shower and a roomy area for getting ready for the day. Only one of two rooms upstairs, this room can accommodate up to two people and with the shared porch – makes for a great girl’s getaway when taken with the Lover’s Fancy room next door!
